COVERING/PAINT CLASS: Reserving seats now for the next covering/painting classes at the Loehle factory! Learn how to use the new Loehle Aero Coatings for a superb high-gloss finish on your aircraft. Learn tips and tricks as taught by Mike Loehle, based on years of front-cover quality aircraft. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $179 per person. Saturday classes start at 8:00 am CST and wind up about 5:00 pm. (Dates are tentative and are subject to change.) Aircraft recently finished: Lancair IV Propjet, RV-10, Luscombe 8A, BD-5, Decathlon, Bellanca Viking, Cessna 210, Zenith 601 HKS, RV-7A, Arion Lightning, Murphy Moose, Libelle sailplane, etc.. We are currently working on a K-13 sailplane and a Cessna 150. We have completed several GA touchups as well (Merlin, Cessna 170, Cessna 182, etc.). Tired of trying to fill the holes with multiple coats and then sanding, sanding, sanding? We have the answer! Loehle Wonder-Fil is a paste-like substance you wipe on with a paper towel, wait about five minutes and then wipe it off. Voila! Pinholes are filled and you can proceed with a smooth coat of primer (our Black Filler/UV Blocker Primer helps tremendously in identifying every little blemish that might still need attention).
