Technical Help Info
Loehle Aircraft Corporation provides a special call-in time for builders who have questions about building the aircraft. The best time to call is 10:00 a.m. CST or 2:00 pm CST p.m. Monday thru Friday. This is for any Loehle builder who needs clarification or just doesn't understand the procedures outlined in the manual or drawings. During this call-in time the Senior Designer, Carl Loehle, is in the office or is nearby to answer tech calls. Carl is the Senior designer for the 5151 and P-40 and has played a major role in developing and manufacturing kits for the Sport Parasol (and now the Spitfire and KW-909).
Although he doesn't get a lot of calls, we feel it is a help to the builders to know that they have direct access to the designer of the airplane if they should need to talk with him. This is commitment to customer service!
The only requirement to receive his help (besides owning a Loehle kit) is to have the drawings and part numbers in front of you so he can answer your questions concisely and quickly.
