SPECIAL - BEAUTIFUL"5151" MUSTANG
READY-TO-FLY
Here's a great opportunity for someone to buy a beautiful "5151" -- already painted in the "Miss 5151"/Paul I paint scheme (yellow nose/blue and gray fuselage and wings). Mike Loehle did the painting, so anyone familiar with our products knows what kind of finish it has on it.
This "5151" belongs to a customer of ours who hired us to paint it. He had planned to use it as the drawing card for a new engine that he had part ownership in. The engine idea has never reached a stage where one can be installed, so he wants to sell the plane. He is only asking to get his money back....he has $25,000 invested.
The plane is loaded with lots of "goodies":
Retractable Gear
Deluxe Interior (plush gray seat with lumbar support, gray carpeting with heel pads sewn in, fitted wall panels with pockets for airworthiness certificate, charts, etc., plus the boot for the joy stick base)
Custom Wing/Tail Tips
Military Shoulder Harness/Belt
Long Range Fuel System
Mechanical Band Brakes
Instruments: Tachometer, CHT, EGT, Altimeter, Compass, Air Speed Indicator
New Composite Nose
Windshield Fairing
Vertical Fin Fairings
This plane is priced at $25,000 (less engine). We will rework the nose area to accommodate the 582 including installing the composite nose, and do the engine installation for $3,500. This includes painting the newly installed nose area (after engine installation) to match the rest of the plane. The Complete 582 Engine Package (firewall forward, including the new blue head engine with E gear box with 3.47:1 ratio, the engine mount, hardware, radiator, 4-blade ground adjustable prop) is $8,410. So for a total investment of $36,910, you could have a gorgeous ready-to-fly "5151" Mustang of your own!
Here's some photos of this nicely finished "5151". It is shown less the wing panels, but they are finished and painted as well...just didn't happen to have them on when the photos were made.
